Choosing your size

Method 1: Based on your height

This is the easiest way to pick your size, though it can be imprecise and you may get a better fit using another method.

Here's the different sizes that our bikes come in, and the rough heights that they correspond to:

  • XS: For riders who are 5'0" through 5'4" (152-162 cm).
  • S: For riders who are 5'4" through 5'7" (162-170 cm).
  • M: For riders who are 5'6" through 6'1" (168-185 cm).
  • L: For riders who are 6' and taller (183+ cm).

If you're in the middle of one of the ranges above, you can make a quick & rough size decision now. Otherwise keep reading for how to get a more precise fit.

Method 2: Based on standover height

The standover height is how far off the ground the top tube of the bicycle is. To be able to straddle the bike and stand over it, you want to have at least an inch of clearance between the standover height and your inseam measurement. Here are the standover heights for our various sizes:

  • XS: 28.75 inches
  • S: 29.75 inches
  • M: 31 inches
  • L: 32.5 inches

Your true inseam measurement is not the same as your pants inseam. To get your true measurement:

  1. Stand with your feet about as far apart as they would be when riding a bike (not very far apart).
  2. Tightly straddle a book in your crotch area (really).
  3. Have a friend measure the distance from the top of the book to the floor.

This is the inseam measurement that you want to compare against the standover heights above. Choose the size where your inseam will allow you to clear the frame with a little room to spare.

Method 3: Geometry chart

Maybe you really know what you're doing and have some special way to determine bike fit. In that case, here's details on our bike geometries for each size. All lengths are in millimeters.
